I first had a pint of Asahi that was included as part of a lunch in our last Japan tour in 2008. The most recent time I had Asahi was a few minutes ago. Both times, it was very delicious. It is very dry*, bubbly, and drinkable. I had it cold in a pint glass the first time and from the bottle (imported to the US) in my most recent time. It's a refreshing summer treat. However, you'll want to down this quickly (not chug, but constantly sip), as it gets flat easily; it is terrible when flat and lukewarm.
*Someone help me explain "dry" to a non-drinker. I recall asking my father asking what a "dry" wine meant, and he just said more alcoholic (which is very much not the case).
